All past meeting packets (agendas, reports, etc.) are available on the Hayes Township website, hayestownshipmi.gov. If you want to reference anything you hear in a meeting recording, this is the best place to find documents and more information.
One of the interesting (and usually quite lively) aspects of every meeting is public comment. It is held both at the beginning and end of every meeting.

March 9, 2026 Regular BOT
The BOT discusses County information database, amended Data Centers Moratorium, uses for the township hall, ZBA recording secretary, ZBA plaintiff request for an alternate attorney, local road needs, and updating BOT policies.
February 9, 2026 Regular BOT
The Board of Trustees discusses moratorium on Data Centers, the clean audit report, updated Zoning Map, Approval of Master Plan revision, LCEMSA annual report, ZBA recording secretary, possible lowered speed limits, Short term rental advisory committee, and ZBA alternate position.

Why is this meeting important?
